If one attacker dies, the remaining one should attack lightly and keep their speed high because they may need to retreat quickly if it becomes 2v4. It's even a good idea to try and "contain" the complete enemy defense as long as possible while your teammate respawns.

The outer defense / sweeper must make it home to respawn before a base-camp is set up. This is one reason why double defense might not always be the best option. The enemy is just as concerned with your base as your flag.

If the sweeper fails to prevent a basecamp, the remaining attacker should return to restore the player balance.

The respawned attacker should now stay back on defense working to overpower the enemy. This is an opportunity to turn a 3v4 situation into 4v3.

With the player advantage in your favor you can swiftly attack with a quick hole, or break down their numbers even further. You should be able to attain complete dominance of the grid at this point.
