Mazing is a game played with one or more players. For a normal(square) maze you create a large square and instead of going outside(turning away from the square or going around it) on the fourth turn you turn inside of the large square you continue spiraling towards the center until you have no more room then you turn back and spiral outside of the square. This game has been tweaked by many players. Some tweaks involve spiraling out at the beggining of the game then going back in and back out once more. Another is on a server with less then infinity walls continuing to spiral in and out until you mess up. Mazing was a predecessor to the roulette style of game play.

There are several maze designs other than a square that are worth trying. For example: rectangles, boxes with dents(inward and outward) in them, crosses, etc.

Here are a few games that people like to play on the grid. Some of them are popular enough to have their own pages, others are just listed here.

Roulette

Roulette has its own page.

Laps

In this game, two or more players race around grinding the outer "rim" wall. The players try to go around the grid as many times as possible without dying. The person grinding the outer "rim" wall is said to be "inside" while players grinding on his wall are the "outside" or "middle" (depending if more then two are playing). The "outside" player(s) grind as close to the outer "rim" wall as possible and try not to kill the "inside" player. The toughest part in this "game" is being the "inside" player and turning corners after the "outside" player(s) has(/have) already started grinding the wall perpendicular to the one the "inside" player is currently grinding.

Tunneling

Tunnel1.png

This is a game played by 2 or more players. To tunnel Player A goes around Player B, trapping him in between Player A and Player B's wall. Player A follows the wall next to him where ever it goes, leaving enough space for Player B to safely travel through, until player B gets out. Player B then turns and goes around Player A and does the same thing. The concept is the same as mazing, but some people enjoy it more because you can tunnel more tunnels faster then if you had to make a bunch of mazes.
