==Fortress-For-All==
===What the FFA is===
The Fortress-for-All tournament is a Fortress competition inspired by the Fortress Brawl, Ladle, Spoon, and "pickup" games. The idea is to get players who don't always have the opportunity or the will to play in the Ladle to experience the intensity and excitement that comes along with it. Frequently, in the Ladle, a team will sign up with well over 6 players (the minimum required to have a team) and only 6-7 of those players actually get to play. The others are forced to spectate with stars in their eyes wondering when they'll be able to play on the big stage. Well, that's what the point of this tournament is. Anyone, whether you have a clan/Ladle team or not, is encouraged to participate in this tournament. There are *NO* previous requirements to sign up.

===How it works - Signups===
Anyone who wants to play is more than welcome to sign up. There are going to be '''72''' initial spots to sign up. This will equate to '''12''' teams of '''6''' players each. Once the allotted 72 spots are filled up, there are to be a remaining '''12''' spots to sign up listed under "Substitutes". If for any reason a player chooses to withdraw themselves from the tournament, the first signed up substitute will be bumped up into the Players list. This will allow a new substitute to sign up at the bottom of the list. In addition to signing up as a Player, '''12''' people need to sign up as a Captain. Anyone who wishes to be a captain may nominate themselves, but please - be very knowledgeable about fort and willing to put in the effort of organizing your team to it's highest capabilities. ''*Note that you must be one of the first 72 people to sign up as a Captain.''

===How it works - Teams===
Teams for this tournament are going to be decided by a draft amongst the Captains. On Saturday, the day before the tournament, Captains (and only Captains) will meet at a predetermined time to "draft" their teams. To draft teams, the Captains will all join the IRC room #armagetron.tourneys via an IRC client or the [http://www.hashpickup.net/ web IRC client]. After all Captains are present in the IRC chat room, they will be presented with a Google Docs Spreadsheet. This spreadsheet will have a full list of players and substitutes, and each Captain will be asked to drag & drop the player of their choice to their team when it is their turn. Prior to the draft, each Captain will be assigned a draft number which determines the choosing order (More information can be found on the [http://wiki.armagetronad.org/index.php?title=FFA/FAQ FAQ] page). After each player has been chosen, Captains will be asked to choose a substitute. After all players and substitutes have been picked to a team, the teams will be posted to the wiki and brackets will be made. After the brackets are made, any requests to change team names will be accepted (the default team names will be named by a system to avoid confusion). The teams will then be posted on the wiki page and practice/preparation amongst teams may begin.

Something else on your mind that isn't quite clear? Did I forget to mention something that you're curious about?

=General Information=
===About===
*This is the War Sumo Tournament.
*Times and brackets are listed below.
*You will also find official settings and guidelines below.

===Rules===
*Each team is allowed only 3 players (and 2 subs). This is a '''3v3''' tournament.
*Servers will be chosen and positioned on the brackets.
*Teams will be randomized then placed on the brackets.
*Team editing will be '''locked''' after the brackets are up.
*To participate, all teams are required to have a minimum of '''three''' members and a maximum of '''five'''. Any more than three will only count as substitution.
*A team can switch around their substitutions whenever they feel like it. As long as there's a maximum of 3 team members on the grid at one time.
*Each player is allowed to be signed up to only '''one''' team, but may switch teams on the day of the event, if their first team is full.
*If you have '''played''' a match with a team, you are '''NOT''' allowed to join another team as you have already locked yourself with the previous team by playing with them.
*On the day of the event, team captains are allowed to replace any of their members that do not show up.
*If a team only has 2 players, the other teams captain will then decide if the other team can play or not.
*Each team has 5 minutes after the posted time to be ready or they will be forced to forfeit. If the other team is in a match from a previous round in the tournament they will have 8 minutes after the match to get their team ready and the match started.
*Be friendly and have fun.

===Settings===
*The WST map is being [http://forums3.armagetronad.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=23476 discussed].
*Practically default Sumo settings, apart from the changes said, here.
*The first team to win two matches advances to the next round. (Best 2 out of 3 matches)
*First team to reach 1000 points wins a match.
*No time limits.
*Finals are best of 3 match wins as well.
