8th Team

Junglehungry:

Spoon
We will play at the THE SPOON to defeat Team somethingsomething. Where all others have failed, we will prevail.
The Team name can be changed by a majority vote. I chose 8th_Team [8T] because we're the 8th team.
We'll have a lot of fun! Do or do not, there is no try! and of course May the force be with you.

We will automatically be the weakest team, because we did not play any placement match.
So we have to play against Team somethingsomething first.

See here for the playoff results and matches: Playoffs (The Spoon)

This team "is allowed" to enter the fortress playoffs, but will automatically be the weakest team,
thus we have to play against Team_somethingsomething first. There is still an "one" objection by lucifer.

Wanted
* Anyone who still wants to play the spoon :) (just add ur name to the list)
* Zop!
* Leeroy Jenkins!
* GPs (Alien and other regular fortress players)
* SP (especially regular fortress players)

Note
It's good to have more than the minimum required 5-8 players.
(Also some players might not be able to play once the date is set.)
We'll try to give everybody a chance to play, especially if we win against Team somethingsomething.
The other teams are probably easier if we get past Team somethingsomething.

8th Team

2006-04-21T18:42:56Z

Junglehungry:

Spoon
We will play at the THE SPOON to defeat Team somethingsomething. Where all others have failed, we will prevail.
The Team name can be changed by a majority vote. I chose 8th_Team [8T] because we're the 8th team.
I prefer this to NT=NewTeam or NC=NoClan (u can think of other interpretations).
We'll have a lot of fun! Do or do not, there is no try! and of course May the force be with you.

This team "is allowed" to enter the fortress playoffs, but will automatically be the weakest team,
thus we have to play against Team_somethingsomething first. There is still an "one" objection by lucifer.

See here for the playoff results and matches: Playoffs (The Spoon)

Junglehungry:

*no discussion yet?

anyway, i really looking forward to it and good luck all

pez

*I noticed there is a vacant spot ... e.g. Something Something (aka. ??) has no opponent (first column of the table).
(See end of page http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php/Sandbox)

So ?? is pretty strong and I thought it might be worthwhile to get some other good players and challenge ??. I know I'm part of ?? but lackadaisical is fine with me leaving and providing another challenger for ??. This is a stupid situation as this team would enter pretty late and
I hope ppl aren't offended. We're positive to have lost all matches in the seed round of course. (and also it's likely that the "new team" is elimated by ??).
I'd prefer to stay on ?? until this is decided.

Current interested players:
- emlock
- joda.bot
- ~*SP*~om3ga
- junglehungry
- woorm.bot

Hoping for:
- zop (unlikely)
- leeroy jenkins?
- anyone else (be aware ?? won't be easy)
- What about asking Sasha? Is quite good and isn't in a team or clan.

About the "spoon playoffs":
# Spoon Players should nominate judges (for match rescheduling or something like that - in case "america to europe" pings are all 400+ or some other major problem.
# A team with missing players can "give up" or choose to play with less players than the other team.
# A team should only be allowed to use the players written on the playoff rooster.
:OR
:To prevent a player (e.g. "zop") from playing for multiple teams, just bind him to the first team he plays for - afterwards he is on that team.

:I'd vote for the "second third option" since it makes more sense to me. --Wrtlprnft 13:22, 18 April 2006 (CDT)
