About this Tournament

The CTF BRAWL is a single elimination event. Each final is best of 3 matches (the first team to win 2 matches advances to the next round). Each match is 8 rounds long. Each round lasts a maximum of 5 minutes. Teams are 4 players max, but should have a minimum of two players. Substitutes can be rotated in at any time during the game. The current scoring is as follows:

Team suicides, in an effort to work the scoreboard for a win, will not be tolerated and will result in your team's elimination from the tournament. Do not be late for the opening round. Failure to show up with a full, organized team will result in your forfeit. Do not waste time or stall between finals. Your opponent may start the match without you if you take longer than 10 minutes to get ready, from the time your first teammate enters the server.

Signing Up

Authentication is required to play in the tournament. Team leaders must list their Global ID here on the challenge board when signing up. As a precaution, please have a minimum of two (2) players assuming the role of team leader so your team has the greatest chance to participate without login problems. Team leaders should be familiar with using commands to /op players, /lock their team, /invite members, and start_new_match. You can add as many substitutes as you need, but they are bound to your team once the tournament starts. Players can only be listed once on the Challenge Board and may only play for one team during the tournament.

Sign-ups close two days before the tournament date. Servers will then be placed on the bracket randomly. Following this, the listed teams will be randomized and loaded into the bracket. If your team fails to make the cut-off, please contact a tournament organizer for help.
