How many members does una have right now? 9? Here's my advice: try to expand fast, but make reasonable decisions and test/train (if you're not better than them :P ) your members regularly. And read some old posts on arma forums/playfortress about strategies. A lot of it changed my understanding of fort. Maybe it didn't help us yesterday, but it's good if you know about it so you realise what your job as teamleader has to be. I know theory isn't all. We had luck that we could play lots of fortress premier league matches, which we could use to find our strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not a fan of exotic strategies (like freako, for example). I'm already content if everyone of us survives the initial split. Here are things I'd do (i've needed months to figure that out...):

1) Find out what your members are best at eg which position they like and where they can improve.

2) make a 3vs3 (attack vs def) whenever you have enough (it doesn't work when you tell them to show up, say, every sunday)

3) when you have a clanwar or tourney, use some time to think about your line up and the best choice for each position (i make instant chats for that so i don't forget it later and don't need to check the forum while we play).

A clan is a group or team of players which competes in tournaments or just meets very often in the groups' servers.

Tips for clanleaders: How many members does your clan have right now? 9? Here's my advice: try to expand fast, but make reasonable decisions and test/train your members regularly.

1) Find out what your members are best at eg which position they like and where they can improve.

2) make a 3vs3 (attack vs def) whenever you have enough (it doesn't work when you tell them to show up, say, every sunday)

3) when you have a clanwar or tourney, use some time to think about your line up and the best choice for each position (you can make instant chats for that so you don't forget it later and don't need to check the forum while we play).

4) Understand the function of each position and what it is supposed to do

5) Download a program like trillian which includes MSN/ICQ/Yahoo/IRC/AIM and create an account when you need to. Get your members to register there. It's a good way to remind them of tournaments (and just fun to talk )

6) from here, you can be creative ;) (that's the part which i'll keep safely in our clanmembers area )
