===About & Guidelines===

This is a five versus five Fortress cup tournament, but with a cash reward! All teams are required a small entry fee of €1.5 (PayPal conversion) to qualify, but with an extra €50 to the pot included by myself to increase the reward money. Just like a regular Fortress knock-out tournament/cup, it will take place in one evening. Each team will be matched up randomly against another team. The winning team will move onto the next round, the losers will be knocked-out of the tournament. Eventually only two teams will have surpassed them all to reach the final match. If all teams sign up, this will be in total €62 reward money to the winning team.

*If in the unfortunate event that we do not have eight teams signed up by closing date, we may change the date if all entered teams agree to the new date or we will fully refund all entry fee's and possibly cancel.

This tourney will be using a strict [http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php?title=FFCup&action=submit#Sportsmanship_Policy sportsmanship policy, outlined below]. All teams are recommended to have a website with a public viewable page to their full roster and a freenode IRC channel, it does not need to be registered, but that's your own responsibility.All teams are recommended to provide a server so we can fully utilise the best avilable servers. The winning team will receive the cash via PayPal to whoever paid the entry fee.

*By signing up and paying the entry fee, you and all your team mates agree to the rules, settings and sportsmanship policy set out here on the wiki and any official post made.

===Entry Fee and Transactions===

Teams may sign up, but may only be valid until the entry fee has been fully paid. All transactions will be done using PayPal. The winning team will receive the reward via PayPal to the same recipient, unless stated by the Team Leader otherwise. Please make sure to send the entry fee to the correct PayPal account: '''flex.arma@live.co.uk''' and no other. Please make your own arrangements in regards to your PayPal account. If you're having problems, feel free to PM Flex on the Armagetronad or [http://speedersclan.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=971 Speeders] forums.

This policy is designed to keep honour and decency to the cup and ensure that all players have fun and enjoy themselves without being pestered or harassed by other players. This is strictly designed to ensure that the peace is kept. We promote the highest level of gameplay and sportsmanship. It is therefore our wish that players solve conflicts in the spirit of fair play. All staff, including server admins, team leaders are expected to be role models demonstrating sportsmanship at all times.

Un-Sportsmanlike conduct during, prior or after matches will not be tolerated. We suggest that all teams conduct themselves accordingly. If a player or team is found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct, punishment will be issued.

'''The following behaviour is unacceptable during the contest (from start to finish) and specially during a match:'''

*Berating opposing players or anyone involved in the tourney,

*Insulting, name calling, laughing at or any other gesture or obscene actions during a match against opposing players or anyone involved in the tourney, will '''NOT''' be tolerated,

*Any foul language during play or in player aliases/global ID's.

Violations can lead to; full disqualification without refund of entry fee, or if winning team is found guilty then the reward will be split to the second place, depending on vote. A temporary or permanent ban from all future Flex's Fortress Cups.
