The "place your map part" does not apply if the user wants to play an already existing map, which I reckon will be the default case (this page is also linked from the player documentation). I suggest to remove it from this page and direct those pages needing it to Testing Resources instead.
Location of config items is also scattered across the wiki. Factor this out to a dedicated page?
