Custom Camera

The custom camera, unlike the smart camera, does not swing widely around when you turn, and it stays at a fixed pitch, rise, and back.

Settings

There are several settings that affect your custom_camera:

CAMERA_CUSTOM_BACK	How much the camera is moved back
CAMERA_CUSTOM_RISE	The height of the camera above the cycle
CAMERA_CUSTOM_BACK_FROMSPEED	How much the camera is moved back for every m/s speed
CAMERA_CUSTOM_RISE_FROMSPEED	The height of the camera above the cycle for every m/s speed
CAMERA_CUSTOM_PITCH	Inclination of the camera
CAMERA_CUSTOM_ZOOM	How much the camera zooms in your cycle at the beginning of the round (to show the team's formation)
CAMERA_CUSTOM_TURN_SPEED	Speed the custom camera turns with
CAMERA_CUSTOM_TURN_SPEED_180	Factor to the turn speed after a quick reversal

To make these settings permanent put them in a file called autoexec.cfg in your user config/ directory. This file is loaded when you start Armagetron Advanced. If you modify the settings through the console they will not be saved after you quit. Putting them in autoexec.cfg insures they will not be wrote over when you upgrade to a new version.

NOTE: It is easier to find a suitable setting by using the console though, so you don't have to keep logging in and out.
